Payments
A deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due before your Bhutan e-Visa is issued. All prices are quoted in US dollars.
Government fees
The Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) and visa fee are set by the Royal Government of Bhutan and may change. Any change in government fees will be passed on at cost.
Cancellations
Cancellation charges depend on how close to arrival you cancel and on the non-refundable costs already committed (such as flights and certain hotels). The applicable charges are set out in your written proposal. SDF paid in advance is refunded according to government rules.
Changes
We will always try to accommodate changes. Itineraries may be adjusted on the ground for safety, weather, road conditions or festival schedules, which follow the lunar calendar.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation and trip cancellation is strongly recommended, and is required for trekking journeys.
Responsibility
Sagacious Vision Travel acts as the organiser of your journey and works with trusted local suppliers. We are not liable for delays or costs caused by events beyond our control, such as flight cancellations, natural events or government regulations.
